Leaving London Heathrow.
Tuesday 27th Feb 2018 was an unforgettable day – not only were Peter and Kay heading off to South Africa to take on their new adventure, but the UK was under a thick blanket of snow. We set off early, and in spite of the challenges of driving across a country that seems to struggle whenever there is snowfall, we got them to the airport with plenty of time to spare.
When they arrived, the temperatures in SA were over 20 degrees higher than those they’d left in the UK! Dean, the Director at EP, collected Peter and Kay from Johannesburg airport for the final leg of the journey to The Press in White River.
Now it’s time to settle in, learn the ropes and work out what they’ll be doing until they fly home for a summer break in six months’ time.
